Allocation Process

I did hear that we would have to apply as well.

I believe the Vegas attendees already have an allocation slot. But not sure if they may still need to go through an application process...
 
has there been any update on the allocation process or have any non vegas people heard back?
 
Is the public window for applications open? I met a gentleman tonight at a car meet that said he applied more than 30 days ago for the "race mustang." Perhaps he was referring to something else.
 
If he is talking about the GTD, he probably “inquired about applying” as that’s all I’ve seen thus far.

Yeah I agree. I've seen other commenters of groups say they have "applied", but really all they did was fill out the interest form. Hopefully they are not thinking that's all they need to do.

But here we are at 90+ days, when it said 30 days 🤷‍♂️

Interesting to see the launch timeline to be "early 2025" rather than to just see a "2025 model" :cool:

That must have been it, since he also said he "was supposed to hear something within 30 days." (I was thinking to myself, that seems incredibly quick for an application review and decision).

He also asked me if I thought it was going to be a lottery allocation "like the NFGT" to which I responded that I didn't think the NFGT was a lottery allocation at all.

Thank you Spirit's Son, Special K, and Enzo101, for sharing the insight, it all makes more sense now (to me).

I got it as well. Should make for an interesting 2024! So looking forward to Daytona.

I received the same letter a couple of days ago as well.

There will be an application process just like there was for GT. I’m quite sure legal will still require everyone to apply, but if you were invited to Vegas and responded, you have an allocation.
