Saw it was briefly talked about earlier in this thread, but I was curious if anyone had a list of GTD related upcoming events? I have submitted a request on the website and think the car is sick, and I really want to see one in person.

They’ve had a GTD at the past races this year and will most likely have one at up coming racing events. The biggest upcoming GTD event will be Le Mans in June.

When did you first sign up for GTD information at Ford? I did that back when it first opened and did not get the recent GTD e-mail noted above in this thread. So I went back and signed up again, just last week - and in days got the "We'll let you know more in 30 days" e-mail...
Best source will still probably be DBK and this thread / GTD Forum. Or the GT Forum since many of us are on both!

OK I just re-signed-up, again, using two different emails, and the page showed they both worked, although it did before too
Perhaps they are referring to Service, just like the GT service dealerships. I dont know who Randall is, but are they a GT servicing dealership? Makes sense to me that a dealership set up to work on GTs would have what's needed to work on GTD. But it does imply you can order. Then again, anyone could use the configurator.

Got a call yesterday from Sewell Ford, our local excellent dealership. Was told they had taken necessary steps to qualify for GTD distribution & service- similar to program Ford had for GTs. Good news as Sewell is only a few minutes form our home.

Hey guys, Im a little late to the party here. there was a web cast on Tuesday with ford and the head of the GTD program. it went over details of the GTD program and the dealership's role. there was a Non-disclosure agreement at the beginning. but I can tell you I watched the release with the GM of my dealership.
anyways, I have applied for the GTD application process and hope to get in. Good to find this site and this group of people.

I wonder if the folks that got a NGT simply to flip it for profit, will get an allocation for GTD (we still have both of our GT's)
At the very least I think they would be low on the list. I've got both my GTs with 40K on the 05 and 8500 on the 18. So, is that going to have influence? I guess We will have to wait and see.
Watching BAT and all the auctions I think anyone who still owns has and logged over 1,000 miles on the NFGT could be given a GTD allocation and the number would be very small. LOL
