I'm guessing for emissions and efficiency the Predator motor has direct injection, which means it's prone to deposits building up on the upstream side of the intake valves without the fuel to clean them. This is a common problem with all direct injection motors as I understand it, especially with the increased blow-by of forced induction, and usually by 40 or 50K miles begins to effect flow resulting in reduction in HP. I heard there was talk of adding another fuel injector upstream of the valves to solve this problem. Does the Predator have a way to prevent the deposits? I've added an oil separator system in the EGR circuit of my eco-boost motor which solves this deposit issue but guessing that the factory would never go that route, even in the GTD, since it adds another thing for the owner to have to service.
