GTD Track Days

For what it's worth, I've been running Ford GT events since 2006. In that time, we've held events at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Spring Mountain, Utah Motorsports Campus (and when it was Miller Motorsports Park), VIR, Road Atlanta, Texas World Speedway, the Texas Mile, Nola Motorsports Park, Apex Motor Club, etc. We've even had GTs cross the pond and go out at Spa Francorchamps and Le Mans. At our largest Ford GT event, we had 126 Ford GTs, and we've always had heavy participation from Ford and Multimatic. Raj actually announced the GT allocation process at GT Rally X in 2015, and Multimatic just sent a team of 7 and an MkIV to hammer at Apex last month.

It was always my goal that when GTD came out we would integrate these two communities at various motorsport/driving events and track days, so we will be doing that starting next year. I suspect next year's GT Rally will most likely be the largest attendance ever.

ok, really cool that you had these. GTD events would be nice.
 
I would love to do a few of these events. Keep us posted, maybe I can swing it. The wife is the holdup. Her cancer progression is slow, but a painful one.

The FGT contingent at the Shelby Bash a few years ago was a great success as far as I could tell. Getting a ride in Ben's MK II on track was a highlight of my life, haha. I'd love to see more engagement with Team Shelby's signature event. Spring Mountain is a fantastic track.
