Looking forward to the FL tracks and some time up in NY & CT for Watkins Glen and Limerock! Might even have to show up at the Shelby Bash out in Vegas after many years of being absent, and show them what a Mustang Ford(Multimatic) built!

My wife said it’s not tracking the car, it’s off roading it! She listens better than I do!! Lol!

And we aren’t racing it! Everyone was worried about that a bit ago. Can’t take it to the road course as it will void the warranty?!? Well yeah, if you’re racing it!! The problem is people think an HPDE is Racing! LMFAO!

My dream is to take it to Laguna Seca and or Willow Springs
It is a bit over 700 miles from my place
Willow Springs is a 7 hour drive
Sonoma is 12-14 hour drive

I'm in SF, in order of anticipated frequency based on distance / convenience:
Thunderhill
Laguna Seca (sound restrictions will limit the number of GTD compatible track events)
Sonoma
Buttonwillow
Willow Springs

Thunderhill is outside a town called Willows, I've heard about people showing up to the wrong "willow" track in CA :)

These are all on the list!

I instructed at DIS for many years and can’t wait to get the GTD on the banking of Daytona! There is some talk of organizing a GTD@DIS Event once all GTD’s are built. Will that be past the 2027 date? Will they extend the builds? Only the future knows this and I do not go to Psychics! Lol

I tend to run with: BMW CCA (as an instructor), Hooked On Driving (HoD), PDC, Golden Gate Lotus Club (GGLC), and Northern California Racing Club (NCRC). I used to do SCCA Spec Miata and ITS but it's been a while.

Nearly all of my track experience is SCCA road racing, but I have done some with this group, and also instructed (I was friends with the late original founder RIP Ian!!!). The current lead, his son became the youngest to ever win the SCCA Runoffs in 2024. Point, they have events at pretty much everywhere in the east.
