As this is my very first car purchase of this magnitude the stress of ordering the right options are challenging. On one hand I know what I want but as this is a large investment as well from my standpoint I also want to make the correct choices. On a car like this I feel like there is no wrong choice for such a badass car but unfortunately, that may be wrong.

So this is just another poll to see what’s important to you guys. Also please leave a message if you can to explain why. I’m not going to hold back any info for fear of someone doing the same spec so I’ll go first.

Important:
1.) Performance Package- the car needs to have what the car has that’s going for the lap.

2.) A color that stands out. This is where things get interesting. I want color that shows off the lines. Not a traditional ford color. This could go good or it could limit potential future buyers which I must say has to be acknowledge. If I go Carbon series then add a performance package that leaves me with a stock color. PTS would more than likely push me over my limit.

3.) Picking the right color/material combo with wheels. Here in Houston the roads suck so magnesium wheels as cool as they are may be a bad choice for the possible damage caused by our roads.

Here are my favorites colors.

With Chroma Flame being one of the stock colors at least you wouldnt have to worry about someone else blocking out that color......

True, but I do feel that will be the most selected stock color. Part of me knows the cars rare enough to not see another exact match on any given day, just would like to stand out.

I’m wrestling with the color palette.
Seems you can either go full disco or get a color to match your refrigerator.
Nothing in between.

GTD is a lot of metal making a loud statement.
For me, amping it up even more would be too much.
On the other hand, even though a gray or black may tone down some of the bulk, this just isn’t what I’d like for a track car. I like to be visible on track.

Leaning towards a unique color, hope we get to choose from something similar to Porsche PTS. Performance pack yes. Exposed CF when we are already getting painted CF, not for me at the upchuck they’re asking. SE reminds me of James Brown cameo in the Rocky movie, lots of red and blue, not for me.

i have no skin in the game and i'm not sure what all the packages entail but i know where i'd put my money, it always depends how deep your pockets are too of course. every performance/tech. option - check. if it's not about that then what's it about? i'd want both sets of wheels, the aluminum for daily and magnesium for track (even if i never used them they'd be a good addition for resale). the colour is totally secondary, that initial blue/silver/grey they introduced is beautiful, the gold wheels too. completely subjective though.

i'd want sound deadening as i'd likely drive it a lot more on the road than track, particularly at 2 a.m. on some twisty secondary roads but then i live in british columbia and there are some great driving roads that aren't too busy at high noon often times.

something to consider, the gtd will likely be one of the last of it's kind. everything is becoming hybrid and over-complicated with electronic tech.

Cars today are depreciating faster than ever. What's gone wrong & could Ferrari's F80 be next?

Start with black and then go red. Because of where the red bits are, it would be easier to spray that way.

my personal opinion is that white will be the most selected color. But of course thats just a guess...........

Surely not everyone's taste, but prob my fave requested so far:

I've shown this to a bunch of people and they all love it. Would it be possible to see what the front might look like? Also, does anyone know if the red could be a wrap? I'm not very familiar with the limitations of the "seams" other than wrapping around corners into door jambs, etc.

I'd also like to see others' visions for what they want their GTD to look like!

I seemed to remember that rare car colors sell for more so googled "crazy car colors sell for the most money" and its AI reply just now was:

"Bold colors, like purple, orange, and red, can have higher resale values than more common colors. This is because there are fewer vehicles with these colors, and they are often found on low-volume vehicles, like sports cars, that hold their value well.

Here are some other colors that can have good resale value:

Yellow: A good choice for convertibles and SUVs.

Orange: A good choice for coupes.

Beige: A good choice for pickup trucks.

Green: A good choice for all vehicle types.

Colors that are more popular, like white, gray, silver, and black, tend to have average depreciation levels. This is because there are more of these cars available, making them easier to find."
