My order engagement window is June-Nov and I’m trying to get an understanding of the timeline from order engagement to delivery. Seems like they’re moving faster than they were last year when production started. Anyone who’s received a car recently have any insight into this?

I have not received car, I was asked to order my car by Dec 10 2025 so it would be ready, "I guess", for production in April, May. I was reinformed that delivery would be more around July, August, Sept. So I guess they are having a backup with the Carbon Series Cars. Make me wonder what the rush was.
Interesting. I assume those carbon series cars require a bit more prep work for paint. I did see a couple guys on here were reached out to by ford about a month ahead of their order engagement window. Maybe that’s a sign things are getting more efficient.

My engagement window opened in November of 2024. I was a poker chip allocation.
VIN was assigned in August 2025.
Production began late 2025 early 2026. My official delivery date is March 10.
So from engagement to anticipated delivery it was roughly 17 months.

Wow 3 months is way ahead of anything I expected. That must have been a nice surprise. I wonder if the preferences we selected initially(base,carbon,soa) has anything to do with how they’re scheduling orders now.
I'm not sure. But I was told I could select any of the 3 models. I got into the configurator and have done a couple of builds. I was indeed surprised to get the email to start ordering.
Is you Vin # a 2025 or 2026? We had our Vin # 0008 October 29 2025 and we are getting delivery March 8th for a 2026 MY. Our engagement window was April to July 2025

I’m a 2026.
I’m not totally mad at how long the process has been for me, but I am a little surprised. Considering the poker chip event was supposed to guarantee one of the first cars. A good friend who lives down the road was at the event as well and took delivery of his SOA over 6 months ago, with the same engagement window.
According to concierge it’s because of my color choice and when the factory was ready to begin production on “level 3 colors.”
Then again, there’s been plenty of EP deliveries already. So who knows. My build is admittedly very spec heavy.
I’d be willing to bet that I probably hold the record for longest wait from allocation to engagement to delivery.

Just heard from the concierge team yesterday to start the order process…3.5 months ahead of my intital engagement window.
