Sorry, my mind doesn’t work that way. I can limit my posts if I am bugging anyone. I post when I think of things. But yes, I will be posting most likely seconds apart in the coming months so I am sorry if that is offending members here@SilverSurfer98 are you aware there is an Edit button, vs making a ton of additional posts minutes apart?
Wont be attending any events that limit the db. If the 3” straight piped ‘07 Shelby GT can’t go, then the GTD and I will not either! What are the odds you actually get a lap around Tremblant without a black flag? I bet the supercharger will set off the noise police!![]()

There are a couple COM and MassTuningwhat organizations do you sign up with at these events?
What cost have you been quoted?Following rumors for awhile it now seems confirmed that after 2026 COTA will no longer host HPDE and Club racing. They plan to move to a membership model similar to Thermal and other tracks. I can't see becoming a member for the cost I've seen quoted. My window for the GTD is around mid year but I'm not sure if delivery will be in time for break in and prep to drive it at COTA before the end.
Nothing official yet. From a pro coach I know in Austin, COTA are targeting to have 250 members with initial fee of 500k to 1M and annual dues of 80k.What cost have you been quoted?
Agree. They do plan a new clubhouse. Talking to others around the paddock I was told part of the scheme is that the membership dues revenue is intended to replace the current income from HPDE /club race track rentals but with less wear and tear to the track. https://circuitoftheamericas.com/the-circuit/That's expensive. And the track is already there, as opposed to it being a new track/club, so it's not like they're recovering build out expenses.
They are working on a new, smaller track near T11 condos (which is where I plan to store mine.) but dealing with foundation issues and a gas pipeline. They (ranger excavation) had to dig 10' to deal with the shitty soil for COTA. We should have more info in the next month. Despite what people say, no membership details have been released. However, I do think the 500k + 80K sounds about right. Or at least on par with super high end golf clubs. If the new track is built, there will be 2 membership levels + member racing (we think boxters) monthly. Either way, my team plans to set the track record at COTA in the GTD in April.Agree.
